About
In May 2021, I graduated with my M.F.A. in Directing from Ohio University’s Professional Director Training Program.
As a Director, I focus on telling stories that fall at the intersection of entertainment and education. As artists, we have a duty to help provide humanity in what is becoming an increasingly hostile world. The primary goal of all my work is to create positive change in the world while spreading joy everywhere I can.
As a Teaching Artist, I focus on allowing students to tell stories that they care about and can personally relate to. A lot of my teaching work centers around devised work/new play development. But, I also use existing scripts to help students reach their full potential.
In 2018, a life-long collaborator and I founded Endeavor Theatre. As Artistic Director, I have made it a goal to produce shows that are by or about traditionally marginalized or underrepresented groups of people. As we expand, we hope to present both new work and re-imaginings of classics to tackle the issue of gender, race, and queer representation in the theatrical cannon.
